"We absolutely loved the time we spent at Place of Grace. We came last year and decided to try to make this an annual trip. There are so many amenities here, I cannot add them all, but having a vinyl record player and a LOT of records, having a washer and dryer, different types of games, everything you need for cooking (I made a pumpkin spice cake with homemade icing and had everything I needed. The beds are so welcoming and warm! We brought our dog and there were dog treats, dog dish (which is good we forgot ours), toys, towels to wipe off paws, etc. This time of year up there is so magical with the fresh snow glistening and the birds visiting, absolute relaxation! Thank you and we will be back next year!!"

This Log Cabin has a open floor plan and large windows to view wildlife. There are two separate sleeping quarters, one in the loft, the other is on the main level. This cabin is most comfortable for a small family or two couples, but can sleep up to 6 people with need sharing including a queen air mattress upon request. There is both a cozy pellet stove and a wood fire place, and spacious outside deck. It is tucked in an aspen grove so plenty of wildlife can be viewed walking around the full acre property. The cabin is near recreation areas for fishing, hiking, biking, snowmobiling, off roading, geocaching, historical and scenic treasures. A perfect oasis to disconnect from busy city life and reconnect with the rustic quiet beauty of nature.

Winter is approximately late November through early April, during this season Roads are closed to road vehicles. Only tracked vehicles (snowmobiles) or skies are allowed. Winter parking lot is about 5 miles from Cabin. Bring your own snowmobiles/skies or rent snowmobiles in the neighborhood! Check out our Seasonal Access page for more information

There is a small general store at the Arrowhead Mountain Lodge that has some basics and sundries. However, We recommend you do your grocery shopping in either Montrose or Gunnison for your supplies for an enjoyable stay.
